In the "1928 Annual and
Logbook of the Incorporated RSGB (Radio Society of Great Britain)" I
found an advertisement from Celestion depicting 1927-1928 loudspeaker models
C10, C12 and C14. Based on several
other sources, however, this advert is mixing up the models C10 and C14. The model
at the left should be C14 and the one at the right C10.
In this advert Celestion claims to
have used a new patented reinforced diaphragm. Result of this construction
would be that "every note in the register of the piano and the organ is
emitted with realistic precision".
